Staircase (Ref No. 0971)
This staircase was a replacement incorporated within an extensive house refurbishment which brought the property right up to date with todays trend. Two half straight flights with a galleried landing floods the stairs with light. The oak inner strings, newels, handrail and spindles were in the ever popular stop chamfer design. The bottom first tread was gentle curved as not to protrude pass the hallway wall and was given a sense of balance by having newels both sides.
